I set up this blog on coming back from attending the demonstrations in Copenhagen to demand a fair deal on climate change at the COP15 summit in December 2010. I undertook to do ten things in 2010 to reduce my own greenhouse gas emissions by 10%. You can read more about these here, where you can also find out why I’ve given the blog the name I have.
For a bit of context, as I start this blog I am edging towards my 30th birthday. During the day I work as a civil servant in a policy role, and whilst there may be some overlap with my work here I won’t be blogging about it. I live in north London in a block of flats dating from the 1940s, managed by the council’s housing provider and consisting of roughly 2/3 social housing and 1/3 private tenants/owners. Climate change is by no means the only thing I’m interested in and I hope some of my other interests will come across here. You can find out more about some of these here.
